Job Desctiption:
Vanuatu Utilities & Infrastructure Limited (A Pernix Group Company) is currently looking for a suitably Qualified Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of financial reports, supporting schedules and reconciliations
• Budgeting
• Payroll processing
• Inventory Management
• Ensure compliance to Government requirements & Other Vendors
• Coordinate annual audit and assist with the provision of all requirements to complete on time
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 5 years' experience working in accounting preparation of full set of accounts
• Knowledge of accounting principles and methods
• Excellent Computer skills in Word, Excel, spreadsheets, Inventories
• Ability to work independently
• Highly effective organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
